Sheriff Jon Hayden of the Graves County Sheriff’s Office in Kentucky recently highlighted the extraordinary bravery and quick thinking of four-year-old Jensen Thompson. Jensen’s grandmother, who resides near the Hickman and Graves County line, suffered a fall at home, leaving her unable to call for help. Despite his young age, Jensen took decisive action by fetching a cellphone and using FaceTime to contact his mother, alerting her to the emergency. Sheriff Hayden, Hickman County Sheriff Ben Natividad, and deputies John Cavin and Greg Sloan visited Jensen’s home to honor his courageous deed. Jensen’s remarkable maturity and composure in a crisis earned him a Life-Saving Certificate and heartfelt recognition from law enforcement, underscoring his status as a true hero at just four years old.
